MEET KATHERIN

Katherin has always been drawn to helping others. Working in the Western medical system for over a decade, she first was drawn to nursing. She studied pre-nursing at MSU-B but slowly that desire shifted and she didn’t understand why. That is until she discovered her dharma in Ayurveda, Marma Therapy, and a voice to empower others.  Her hearts desire is to share the gospel of love and healing through the lens of Ayurveda.

Years of physical and emotional trauma caused Katherin to bask in ego to fool those around her that she was strong, confident, and accomplished. Behind closed doors she struggled with addictions, anxiety, and crippling depression. In 2019 a close friend suggested she listen to health podcast about the gut microbiome...she was hooked. Hooked on podcasts and information to better her health and wellness. Katherin not only had struggled with her weight and self worth her whole life but now was suffering from gut issues, insomnia, pharmaceutical drug dependence, alcohol dependence, and struggled with mobility due to her weight and a debilitating foot and ankle injury from a car accident. Podcasts led her to books and books led to the interest in Eastern Philosophy, Ayurveda, and Yoga. Katherin's love ignited for the power of Ayurveda and Yoga with pranayama (breath work) and meditation. This love grew by slowly implementing a Yoga (asana) practice and small diet and lifestyle changes through ancient wisdom.  She is now burning bright with a heart of service, a story of transformation, profound growth, and training to guide and empower those looking for holistic healing in their own lives.

Katherin completed 200 hr. Ayurveda Mastery Immersion and traditional Marma Therapy training from her teacher Yamuna Bihari Das. She is currently studying to complete a 200 hr Yoga RYT, continuing advanced Ayurvedic studies and set to study under Adriana Rizzolo with an emphasis of somatic and spiritual evolution.  Katherin's heart has led her to dive further into the path of Bhakti (yoga of love and devotion). Forever a seeker of truth and wisdom, forever a student of life and love.
